National pet day

Happy National Pet Day!!!!  As you know we only have dogs, but we love all animals.  I am bias to dogs, love the warm cuddly wagging tails, smiley faces of all my dogs.  Yes, we have 20!  Sometimes it's hard for me to believe.  I've been sitting here trying to figure out what to write for content.  Why not introduce each and every one of my babies to give you a taste of my family.

Budroe, my 11-year-old great Dane.  He is big, sweet, not so bright, and loves his mommy!  He is calm and brings the ferals a sense of safety.  His favorite snack is lettuce.

Roelo, he is our 5-year-old hound dog.  He is a daddy's boy through and through.  He is sweet, playful, loves a ball, and did I mention his daddy?  He manages the puppies, like their father, sets the pace for the group.

Charlie, our short labish corgi maybe mix.  She is a momma.  She came to us from the woods with her two babies.  She protected them until she found us.  She is sweet, she bathes all the dogs, sets the rules occasionally with the pack especially the smaller pups.  She plays well with all the dogs and cares for the little pack!

Tabitha. tubby tabby.  She is our slightly heavier pitty mix who is the Alpha of our pack.  She is the best Momma of them all.  She will play and tolerate all the dogs.  She also sets the rules at any given moment.  She is caring and her instinct is to protect.  She is also dedicated to Dad.  Her favorite snack is anything!!!!

KC, is our three-year-old pitty lab mix.  She is one of the feral dogs, who has just blossomed.  She is still slightly skiddish, takes cues from Budroe.  She isn't fond of strangers but loves her family.  She is humble and always begging to play with her sideways paw reach to play.  She is very playful.  She helps to give confidence to her skiddish feral brother.

Jojo, the sibling of KC.  He is still quite skiddish, but has been able to form a bond with Budroe and the rest of the pack.  He is nervous with humans, but occasionally comes up to me and asks for an ear scratch.  He needs some medication to help him feel more confident and calmer, but he has come a long way.  He has piercing eyes and a beautiful gray coat.

Vinny, our black 3-year-old boxer lab mix.  He is the last of the feral dogs.  He is still skiddish of men but does allow for me to pet and kiss him as long as his protector Budroe is around.  He sleeps with Budroe.  He is playful with all the dogs and always winds up as monkey in the middle.  He loves to wrestle and run around the yard.

Roberto, Bertie, my heart.  He is our 8ish year-old min pin mix.  This little guy is so smart, friendly, the first impression dog.  He loves people and tolerates most dogs.  He has always been one of the first dogs we bring out for introductions of new family members.  His favorite thing to do besides sleep between my legs, is go for car rides.

Tito, our not so old Ol man, chihuahua.  He is so sweet, slightly timid, but loves to love.  He has a little smile when you scratch his chest.  He begs to sit in my lap, is my little "tink tink."  When he follows me around everywhere, definitely a momma's boy.  Loves to sleep on my head and go for car rides.

Hobson, our papillon mix.  He loves to bark.  We have never had "yappy" dogs, this one is our first!  He is curious and playful.   He loves to lick your face, you r arms, whatever he can reach.  He bites the ankles of the dogs for fun, they are not so amused.  He is definitely loud.

Petie, our chihuahua mix, is our little fighter.  He came from the streets, and you can tell.  He puts up a fight for anything, he loves to play with Hobson.  He has a sweet side, loves to cuddle with his daddy.  He eats with a ferocious appetite.  He is also a talker.  He still chases his tail.

Pippy, our newest addition to the LeBlanc family.  She is a tiny little chihuahua.  She has hops, when she wants something, she can jump up to it, clears the bed, can reach the doorknob, can jump up my leg.  She loves her Momma, follows me everywhere and has slight separation anxiety when I leave.  She loves to cuddle with anyone warm.  She also will eat anything you give her without even smelling it.

Ernie, our 1ish year old shepherd pit mix.  He is a ball of energy.  He is extremely oral, meaning he has to be chewing on something or licking something if he is awake.  His bones are his most prized possessions.  He loves to play, is often redirected by momma Tabitha when he gets too eager.  He loves to lick, earned the nick name "licky lick."

Lala is our pocket pitty.  She is sweet but has somewhat of a past we don't know about.  She is nervous with lod noises and any loud shouting.  She is shy with men but is glued to me.  She loves to cuddle.  She is good playmate to the puppies, has taken them under her wing so to speak.

Maggie is our foster pitty.  She is battling mange and being underweight, but she is happy and sweet.  She loves her daddy who chooses to carry her around like a baby.  She is still regrowing her hair, but I think she will be healthy soon with a full coat.  She has a great appetite, loves bones and loves to play.  She has taken to all the dogs.  She loves her daddy!

Herman is our sweet, slightly nervous terrier mix.  He has always been one of our more intelligent dogs.  He is very observant, curious and a bit nutty.  He is on a few medications for nerves, but he is a good boy.  He loves to snuggle with his daddy and go on his walks.  He relies on structure and loves his routines.  He is so smart.

The puppies....

Bruce, our getting larger by the day, white labish/Dane mix.  He is very sweet, very curious.  Loves to play with his siblings and run around the yard, typical puppy stuff.  He seems to like to have his own space, lays in his crate alone but he is also the biggest pup we have. He is the first in the house to wake up, usually at 0330!!!

Jeffrey, our box head pitty mix.  He is so sweet and quiet.  He is a little onery but is a pup.  He loves to play. especially with his brother Bruce.  The four pups are nearly inseparable.  He is the laziest of the four.  He loves to put himself to bed.  He still has his collar, and it hasn't been chewed off of him, so maybe he is cleaner or particular about his things.

Stella, oh sweet Stella.  She is the runt and has the worst but cutest underbite.  Her head is a little misshapen, but she seems to be a normal happy pup.  Maybe just the last one fed in the litter.  She is sweet, playful, runs with her tail tucked down and has a crooked ear.  She is adorable.

Sissy, the wild one.  She has been the busiest pup.  She is sweet and into everything.  She is curious, but very intelligent.  She eats so fast.  She has a puzzle bowl.  She has learned how to scale a fence.  She has to be contained and watched, but she is a good pup.

Are we full??? Yep.  Welcome to our family.  Happy pet day
